“Haerang Sea Observatory (Donghae City, Gangwon, Korea)”, which was unveiled to the public on 25th June 2021, is an extended transparent bridge to the sea. Visitors can see and enjoy the sea (the Pacific Ocean) wave under their feet on it.

The entrance fee is “Free” and it is closed every Monday. “Donghae Dojjaebigol (Goblin) Sky Valley” which was unveiled to the public on the same day with the “Haerang Sea Observatory, is an 89-meter high skywalk, visitors can see the whole view of ‘Mukho Port’ along with the beautiful coastal line of the Pacific Ocean (“East Sea” from Korea). The entrance fee is KRW2,000 (about USD1.80-) and it is also closed every Monday.

Donghae City is located in the central region of the east coast of Korea in Gangwon-do Province, Jeongseon county to the west, and Gangneung city to the north. It contains the southern terminus of the Donghae Expressway, and the No. 7 national way passes through the city.

The city is mostly mountainous and famous for its popular tourist destination such as Mureung Valley and beautiful beaches, Mukho Lighthouse, and old-fashioned cafes, well-reserved old villages which are hardly found in urban life nowadays.

“도째비골 해랑전망대”: 배를 타야만 닿을수 있는 바다 위 파도 너울을 발 아래서 느낄수 있도록 바다 위를 걷는 듯한 체험을 할 수 있는 유리바닥과 메쉬바닥으로 구성한 해상 교량이다.

“동해도째비골 스카이밸리”: 전망시설인 하늘산책로(스카이워크)와 체험시설인 스카이사이클(와이어를 따라 공중을 달리는 자전거), 자이언트슬라이드(대형미끄럼틀)를 중심으로 휴게음식 및 기념품을 판매하는 거꾸로된 집모양의 도째비아트하우스, 매표소 등의 편의시설을 아우른다.
